Naval
Our systems solutions offer commonality across the fleet and considerable operational benefits, including reduced training needs, reduced manning and optimised support and logistics through life. We're a key player in the UK's Type 45 and European Horizon programmes, contributing radar, combat management and data transfer, electro-optical gun control, meteorological and data link communication systems.
Joint Programmes
We deliver complex systems solutions that are by their nature enterprise wide, cross-domain and cross platform. They encompass the integration of business processes, information, systems, people organisations and infrastructure. Key initiatives in which we're currently involved include providing the next generation Communications Electronic Support Measures (CESM) capability.
Air
Our capabilities in the air domain support customers through life, from battlespace analysis through mission system design, development and integration to software and training. Insyte is the lead for UK interoperability on the Joint Strike Fighter programme, as part of team Lockheed Martin. Other examples of our considerable expertise include air traffic control and intercept training, Operational flight programmes and Fast loader systems for RAF Tornados.
Land
Insyte has wide experience of delivering land based battle proven systems in the UK and worldwide. We deliver information solutions for strategic and transformational operational requirements as well as command and control battlespace applications. Our solutions span Integrated layered Air Defence and Air Surveillance Systems to discrete and networked sensors.
Homeland Security
BAE Systems has a breadth of capability in the National Security and Resilience market that enables the analysis and delivery of novel, innovative, robust and scalable solutions that meet the demands of the UK and global Homeland Security markets.
Insyte is the lead for Homeland Security across BAE Systems. It has already established its position through the achievement of a 5 year contract to provide a key Homeland Security project for the UK government.
